As a custom down jacket manufacturer in Tianjin, China, LYTH controls the full production chain for this down series: fabric and trim sourcing, pattern making, baffle construction, down filling, sewing and AQL 2.5 final inspection. The standard build pairs a 10D–40D Polyamide or Polyester ripstop shell with a DWR finish and duck or goose down fill — exceptional warmth-to-weight and compressible.
Customization covers colorways, Pantone matching, fill power and fill weight, baffle patterns, stand-collar or hooded options, and branded trims. YKK zippers are standard, and RDS-certified or recycled down alternatives are available for sustainability programs.
Quality is tested, not claimed. Bulk production is verified against a sealed pre-production sample and inspected under AQL 2.5 / General Inspection Level II — the same standard most EU and US buyers specify in purchase contracts.

Down Jacket Series FAQ
What fabric do you use for custom down jackets?
We use 10D–40D Polyamide or Polyester ripstop and taffeta shells with a DWR finish. Lightweight 10D fabrics are ideal for packable styles, while heavier shells suit heavyweight winter down jackets.
What down fill options are available?
We offer duck down and goose down fills from 550 to 800 fill power in 90/10 or 80/20 down-to-feather ratios, with fill weights tuned from 40G to 300G per piece. RDS-certified down and recycled down alternatives are available on request.
Can you make ultralight packable down jackets?
Yes. Our ultralight 10D down jackets use high-fill-power down and minimal baffle construction to compress into a stuff sack while retaining warmth.
Are your down jackets waterproof?
The shells are DWR water-resistant and shed light rain and snow. For fully waterproof protection we recommend our 3L hardshell or ski wear series with sealed seams.
What is the MOQ for custom down jackets?
400 pcs per color. Counter-samples take 7–10 days and bulk production runs 35–55 days.
