Our softshell fabric combines a durable stretch-woven face, a breathable wind-resistant membrane and a soft inner face for comfort during high-output activities. It is the ideal outer layer for cool, changeable conditions.

As a custom softshell jacket manufacturer in Tianjin, China, LYTH controls the full production chain for this softshell series: fabric and trim sourcing, pattern making, cutting, sewing and AQL 2.5 final inspection. The standard build uses stretch woven 3-layer softshell in Polyester/Spandex or Polyamide/Spandex — a wind-resistant, water-resistant and breathable fabric with 4-way stretch and a comfortable inner face.
Customization covers colorways, Pantone matching, pocket configuration, hood or stand-collar options, and branded trims. YKK zippers are standard, with colored options available for high-contrast designs. We can also finish with PFAS-free C0 DWR or source GRS recycled polyester upon request.
Quality is tested, not claimed. Bulk production is verified against a sealed pre-production sample and inspected under AQL 2.5 / General Inspection Level II — the same standard most EU and US buyers specify in purchase contracts.

Softshell Series FAQ
What fabric do you use for custom softshell jackets?
We use stretch woven 3-layer softshell fabric, typically Polyester/Spandex or Polyamide/Spandex face with a breathable membrane and fleece or mesh backing. It is wind-resistant, water-resistant and comfortable across a wide temperature range.
Are your softshell jackets waterproof?
Softshell jackets are water-resistant and shed light rain and snow. For fully waterproof protection we recommend our 3L hardshell or ski wear series with PU lamination 20K/15K and sealed seams.
Can you make softshell jackets with PFAS-free DWR?
Yes. We offer PFAS-free C0 DWR finishing on request, compliant with EU REACH / PFOA-PFOS restrictions.
What is the MOQ for custom softshell jackets?
400 pcs per color. Counter-samples take 7–10 days and bulk production runs 35–55 days.
