A padded workwear jacket is judged on a 10-hour shift in freezing rain, not a fitting room. Ours pair a 100% Polyester or 100% Polyamide outer shell with body-mapped synthetic fill (80–200 g/m²), durable YKK hardware and configurable pocket layouts. The LY-WP-259 style adds CORDURA® reinforced elbow panels for the highest-wear positions — and only this style in the series uses CORDURA, keeping the other five styles cost-efficient.

Workwear Padding Manufacturing — OEM & ODM
As a custom workwear padding manufacturer in Tianjin, China, LYTH controls the full production chain for this padded workwear series: shell fabric sourcing, synthetic fill supply, pattern making, cutting, quilting, sewing, trims application and AQL 2.5 final inspection. The standard build uses 100% POLYESTER OR POLYAMIDE outer shell with polyester wadding in 80–200 g/m² fill weights.
Customization covers shell fabric selection, fill weight per body zone, lining material, pocket configuration, branded trims and embroidery. YKK zippers are standard. The LY-WP-259 tactical style upgrades to CORDURA® reinforced elbow panels for abrasion resistance — this is the only style in the series that uses CORDURA. Counter-samples are built from your tech pack, and every bulk run is verified against a sealed pre-production sample plus Martindale abrasion testing on the CORDURA panel (WP-259).
Quality is tested, not claimed. We run tensile-strength testing on the shell and lining, fill-loft verification after wash cycles, and final inspection under AQL 2.5 / General Inspection Level II — the same standard most EU and US buyers specify in purchase contracts.

Workwear Padding Series FAQ
What fabric do you use for workwear padding jackets?
We use 100% Polyester or 100% Polyamide outer shell with synthetic fill (polyester wadding) in weights from 80 to 200 g/m².
Does the WP-259 tactical jacket have CORDURA reinforcement?
Yes. LY-WP-259 is the only style in this series that uses CORDURA® reinforced elbow panels for abrasion resistance in kneeling and crawling work. All other styles use the standard Polyester/Polyamide shell on the elbows.
Can I customize fill weight, lining and pocket layout?
Yes. Fill weight, lining material, pocket layout and trimming are all customizable per style on a per-order basis.
What is the MOQ for custom workwear padding?
400 pcs per colour. Counter-samples take 7–10 days and bulk production runs 35–55 days.
