A hi-vis workwear garment is judged on a rainy motorway at midnight, not a studio shot at noon. Ours pair a 300D 100% Polyester shell with PU coating 5,000mm waterproof / 3,000g breathable, fully sealed seams and EN ISO 20471 certified retroreflective tape. The EN 343 standard confirms protection against rain, snow and fog. Lining weight, tape configuration and hardware are all specifiable per style.

As a custom hi-vis workwear manufacturer in Tianjin, China, LYTH controls the full production chain for EN 20471 garments: fluorescent fabric sourcing, retroreflective tape supply, pattern making, cutting, sewing, seam sealing and AQL 2.5 final inspection. The standard build uses 300D 100% POLYESTER PU 5K/3K with EN ISO 20471 certified retroreflective tape — fully compliant for EU and US workwear procurement.
Customization covers fluorescent colour matching (fluorescent yellow or orange), contrasting colour-block panels (navy, black), Pantone matching for branded accents, and configurable reflective tape layout (horizontal bands, X-back, H-pattern, or full 360°). YKK zippers are standard, with storm-flap front zips and taped seams. Counter-samples are built from your tech pack, and every bulk run is verified against a sealed pre-production sample plus independent EN 20471 / EN 343 lab testing.
Quality is tested, not claimed. We run hydrostatic head testing, retroreflective coefficient testing (EN 20471), colour-fastness checks and final inspection under AQL 2.5 / General Inspection Level II — the same standard most EU and US buyers specify in purchase contracts.

What fabric do you use for EN 20471 hi-vis workwear?

Which EN 20471 classes can you produce?
We manufacture Class 1, Class 2 and Class 3 high-visibility garments, depending on the design and tape configuration. Bib overalls and short bombers are typically Class 2; full-tape jackets and long raincoats achieve Class 3.
Can you add our company logo and customise the reflective tape layout?
Yes. We offer Pantone colour matching, custom embroidery, printed logos and configurable reflective tape positions (horizontal bands, X-back, H-pattern, or 360° coverage).
Do you supply EN 20471 and EN 343 test reports?
Yes. Every bulk run ships with third-party lab test reports for EN ISO 20471 chromaticity, retroreflective coefficient, and EN 343:2019 Class 3 waterproof-breathable rating.
